The Cartier Collection for Le Monde
A few weeks ago I had the chance to photograph the Cartier Collection for Le Monde. Shot at an undisclosed location in Geneva and after more security checks one could count, we got rare access to some of the maison's most iconic historical pieces.
The feature by Valentin Pérez explored the legacy and cultural weight of the Collection: from opal-laden necklaces to twin crocodiles with emeralds and diamonds, the collection holds over 3500 pieces, some of which are on display at the V&A Museum in London.
Big thanks to Ophelia and Soizic at Le Monde for the trust and for letting me break into jewellery photography through the front door!
