Portraying Francesca Albanese

Recently I had the pleasure of photographing Francesca Albanese, UN Special Rapporteur on the occupied Paliestinian Territories in Geneva.

Having followed her work for some time it was a particularly meaningful assignment, and an opportunity to meet someone whose work I deeply admire. Surprisingly for these type of portrait session, Albanese was very generous with her time, so we had the chance to talk about her work, the enormous challenges she has faced in recent months, and my own experiences working in Palestine and her new book, "When the World Sleeps: Stories, Words and Wounds of Palestine".
